KITTIES

I am looking for home(s) for two sweet 2-year-old female kitties I have been fostering.

One is a dilute calico, and the other is all black except for a little star on her chest.

They are both affectionate, playful, clean and have nice personalities. They seem to be well-adjusted. 

I would prefer to keep them together, but in all honesty I don't know if I'd say they were bonded.

They are both fixed and shots. Have their claws, but did all their scratching on the one object I designated. 

Although both are friendly and sociable, neither is very vocal, and their putting is very quiet. 

Momma

  

Play

Momma is very playful. She likes to play "lid" hockey, strings, toys, chasing Dot, laser pointer and enjoys catnip. Regarding the pointer, she knows it is a toy and has tried to figure out how to make it work for herself. She also can get intense about chasing the dot, so you need to be careful because she can overdo it. 

Affection

She is very affectionate and loves all petting, hugging, cuddling, etc. Likes lap time and being held. She purrs but it's very quiet. Predictably shy with new people. 

Cleanliness

She is very clean but kicks her litter a bit, so high walls or cover are called for. Although she is okay with almost all kinds of physical contact, she is still not entirely tolerant of my brushing her, but we are getting there.

Food

I feed them dry and wet food every day. I usually separate them for wet food feedings, because she sometimes watches Dot eat and makes her a little nervous. 

Also 

Not vocal but sometimes meows at a spot on the wall. I have not figured that one out. 

DOT

It was a little harder to get photos of DOT, she seemed skittish when I put a camera/phone
near her. She is very sweet and "polite."

Play

She is playful but more low-key than Momma. Strings, kitty toys, chasing Momma, "lid" hockey, pointer, and catnip. 

Affection

Dot is more catlike in her affections. She has a definite preference for keeping it above the neck. She sometimes leaves out a happy meow. Lately we've been bumping heads. She does like lap and cuddle time but prefers to choose when. Likes to sit behind my PC monitor while I am working there. She purrs but like Momma it is very quiet. Shy around new people.

Cleanliness & Grooming

Very clean with litter and grooming. 

Food 

Dot has a slender build. She has a healthy appetite, but she is just built smaller. Right now she weighs about 7 pounds. I feed both of them wet and dry food every day.
